Hi, I’m Tina,
This all started back in 2020, my health was going downhill.
My weight was creeping up, my confidence was sliding in the opposite direction, and then the pandemic arrived and turned everything upside down. I was in my mid-50s, newly an empty nester, and if I’m honest a bit scared.
I was trying to do the right things, but between social media, headlines and half-conversations with my GP, I felt overwhelmed and under-informed. There was plenty of noise, but very little that actually helped.
So I decided to take control.
Not in a dramatic “new year, new me” way but by learning more, questioning what I was being told, and making small changes that I could actually stick to.
That journey led me to train as a health coach.
Why I do what I do
My specialism is helping people in midlife find a way to live well now and feel more confident about what lies ahead.
I’m not here to promise perfection or a brand-new life by Monday.
What I do offer is support, understanding and a way through that’s based on real life, lived experience and a bit of perspective.
I know what it’s like to stand where you’re standing and yes, I’m still standing there too.
What it’s like to work with me
Working with me feels more like a conversation than a programme.
We look at what’s going on for you, what feels hard, and what changes would genuinely help not what you should be doing according to the internet this week.
Sometimes that means coaching. Sometimes it’s planning. Sometimes it’s just untangling the noise and getting a bit of clarity.
No judgement. No pressure. And definitely no telling you off.
If you’re curious, the best place to start is a free get-to-know-you session.
We’ll talk it through and see if I’m the right fit for you.
