Over the next 6 to 12 months I'm going to share my journey with you as I work to create better health for myself.
I'm in my 60s and have obesity, hypertension and osteoarthritis. I'm not hiding that from you because it's exactly who I am and where I am in my health journey right now.
When Covid hit I was terrified like a lot of people were and I decided to qualify as a health and nutrition coach. I wanted to take some accountability for my own health but also to support others to do the same.
I'm changing things up a little bit in how I approach what I do with you.
A lot of people have said to me that I really ought to share my own journey and my own struggles. And basically what I do for myself is what I do with my clients. So now is the right time to share that journey with you and hopefully that means I'm still walking alongside you and supporting you too.
So I'll be blogging, sharing what's happening in the world of health and nutrition, and showing you the little tips and tricks I use to stay accountable and help me along the way as well as the progress I'm making.
I know this will resonate with a lot of people because so many of us want to create a better healthier life for ourselves.
Because I don't just want to live a long life. I want to live a long healthy one. I want to be able to get up off the floor. I want to be able to walk with my friends freely for as long as I want to. I want to be able to get up and down the stairs easily and I want to fit into lovely clothes. I don't want to be worried about falling over. I don't want to be worried about having a stroke or a heart attack.
I want to be vital and happy. Empowered. In control of my health. And of course alive.
